Process Planning
Goal
My original goal was quite long and specific, meaning that it became too complex; another issue it had was that it focused on the end product rather than on the goal itself (I wanted to learn a new programming language, but initially the goal was focused on describing the the Discord bot). This is my finished goal:
I will learn a new programming language by researching and analyzing various languages, and evaluate which is the most effective to create a Discord chatbot.
Research Question
The current research question I have has not changed since I originally wrote it at the beginning of the Personal Project, and is quite simple (one needs a clear and self-explanatory question, but it can't be too specific, either). Here it is:
How can learning a new programming language help me create a multifunctional chatbot for Discord?
Sources
For my research, I had to utilize many different sources, such as blogs, professional articles, videos and interviews. They all were used to compare different programming languages, as well eventually learn how to create a bot on Discord.
Global Context
The global context I chose was Scientific and Technical Innovation. By relating the goal and product, I was able to choose an appropriate global context.
